USA Grade Equivalent: 5th Grade
My name is Albertha. When I grow up, I want to be a Lawyer, because I have the passion to serve those who may not have the means to hire a lawyer. I live with my Aunty.
Cleaning up our yard, fetching water from the creek, going to school with hunger, and on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, I go to CELDI-Liberia’s After-school Program where I learn in a safe space and have fun with other children. When I return home, I help my aunt to sell to get the day’s meal.
I live in a community that has many indecent houses. Most of the dwellers are poor and children have to walk 2 hours distance to get to their school.
Please pray for my education, daily food, a better place to live, health care and clothes.
